Fine art photographer Ömer Öztürk explains how seeing colors differently helps him create

images that focus on fine details.

There is a strong connection between color perception and emotion. There are psychological theories about how different colors affect us. Although it differs between cultures, it is usually considered that green or blue is calming, while red or orange is stimulating, even makes us hungry! These ideas influence our clothing choices, the decoration of our homes and when it comes to photography the images we take.

It is an extension of the MIND and HEART

The beauty of a movie is as much as the frames that remain in the mind from that movie. A good photo, on the other hand, is one that tells a truth, touches the soul, and makes the viewer different because the veiwer sees it.

And photography is a state of ’Being effective with one word'. If he is a photographer, he feels the need to prove that his camera is not a cold, mechanical tool. Like the pen, the camera is just as good as the one that uses it. And it is the veiwers extension of one's mind and heart.

The Golden City of Prague

I'm shooting this frame from the top of Prague's astronomical clock tower, from a height of

70 meters.

A Roman Agora in Athens

I am among the ruins of the most magnificent Agora of its time, built during the Roman period.

For each photo purchased to encourage the use of analog machines, to support those who have missed or are experiencing this feeling, a 36-piece film will be presented to different photographic artists. The new photographs that will emerge are a return to the survival of the art of photography and its past.

However, not everyone perceives colors in the same way. Ömer Öztürk, a fine art photographer living in Istanbul, was born with a condition called deuteranopia, which means difficulty seeing shades of green. However, he noticed that his eyesight is more prone to recognizing fine details, fine contrast and different textures compared to other people. This feature has been very useful to him as an expert in the field of photography.

A person can say this in a conversation with someone else, when talking about a topic; I understand you with all my heart. But I can't say that we see exactly the same way when we look at the same frame. I'd rather have the mind understand each other and the heart beat for each other than to see it the same way.

My photo frames to your beautiful eyes, the texts I wrote for the photos to your heart,

with the information in these texts, I hope that the design and content of the book will come to your mind well.
